The Grande Easy-Iced Skinny Vanilla Latte

I thought it would be fitting if my first post featured my favorite drink, the grande easy-iced skinny vanilla latte. It's not only delicious, but it is also very refreshing on a hot day. It's the perfect mix of coffee and vanilla, and since it's easy (or light) iced, the ice doesn't water down the drink too much once it melts. I suggest everyone make their cold drinks easy-iced because nobody wants watered-down coffee, unless you're 11. I like to get the skinny (or non-fat, for those who aren't familiar with the Starbucks lingo) version of this drink because it is nearly impossible to taste the difference, so why not try to cut-out some of the processed sugars you're consuming? In general, I love this drink because it's simple enough that when I order it, I don't sound like a Starbucks Junkie, even though I am and it has the perfect amount of caffeine in it to satiate any coffee lover's craving. I imagine that lots of busy soccer moms order this drink on their way back from PTA meetings and their sons football games. That might sound like I'm stereotyping this drink, and honestly, I am. This is a classic "White Girl" drink *excuse my lack of a better term*. That doesn't mean that this isn't a wonderful beverage, because it is, it simply means that the vast majority of people that order this drink will either be teenage girls, famous actresses/singers or middle-aged moms desperately clinging to their teenage years with every bit of strength they have. All this being said, I love this drink and it will be a staple in my Starbucks orders for years to come. If you haven't had one yet, I strongly suggest you order it next time you're at Starbucks... It could very well be a life-changing experience for you.
